Luxury Holiday Park Development
APM were commissioned as Interior Designer and Planning Consultant in the development a former Summer School and Campsite in the Yorkshire Dales Nation Park. The site was originally developed in 1939 to provide accommodate for evacuees during World War 2. The site has been disused since 1986 and was awarded full planning approval in 2020 for the development of a 47-bedroom luxury hotel and spa with a further 14 self-catering eco-friendly holiday lodges. Due to the sensitive site location, the planning process involved liaising with a number of specialist authorities and sustainability bodies.
The site promises to be the largest investment in the National Park for a generation once it is fully developed as planned.
