Adult Therapy and Care Home Refurbishment
Killelea House provides therapy and treatment for adults following illness or injury, who no longer need to be in a hospital, but require intensive rehabilitation and are not yet ready to go home. APM were commissioned to design the full interior, ranging from the main reception areas, lounges, cafe and dining areas, staff quarters, hair salon, 36 able-bodied and bariatric bedroom and ensuites.
Also commissioned were four rehabilitation flats, providing halfway homes to test out people's abilities before going home. Along with the rehabilitation centre, APM were tasked with designing a dedicated office and support unit to Killelea House on the 1st floor which housed 30+ members of staff.
