The team headed up to the Lake District for this years team building trip (checking out a couple of recently completed projects on route).
Project Director Dean, put the team through their paces on the first day with an 18km (11 miles) walk around the Duddon Valley. It was all smiles as the weather was kind to the team and moral was at an all time high when the walk included a visit to the Newfield Inn. The joy was short lived however as the final stretch of the walk saw the team cross a river using stepping stones...not all footwear survived the crossing! Hearty locally sourced food was the reward with an evenings meal at the Blacksmiths Inn.
The next day the team headed to Ulverston and the award winning Shed 1 gin. After one or two welcome G&T's the team soon learnt about the process of crafting gin and before long were coming up with their own gins...Shed 1 don't have anything to worry about as APM will certainly be sticking to design and will leave the gin making to the experts!
